USD #495/Tri County has an immediate opening for a Speech Language Pathologist for the remainder of the 2020-2021 School Year. SLP`s are responsible for conducting evaluations, writing Individual Education Plans, and providing speech and language services as indicated on the Students` Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Essential duties include: planning and implementing individual education plans, assessing students` communication skills (e.g. articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.), collaborating with a variety of groups and individuals (e.g. parents, teachers, physicians, administration, team members, other professionals, etc.), testing and screening, parent conferences, completing progress reports, activity logs, billing information through Medicaid, treatment plans, required documentation, quarterly reports, screening results, correspondence, and documentation.
