Fort Larned USD 495/Tri-County Special Services - Special Education Paraprofessional and Substitute Paraprofessional
Position Overview: Fort Larned USD 495/Tri-County Special Services has openings for Special Education Paraprofessionals and Special Education Paraprofessional Substitutes. Positions are available in the Fort Larned School District, Pawnee Heights, and Kinsley-Offerle School District.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with special needs under the direction of certified teachers.
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Support students in both academic and non-academic settings.
- Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule and Benefits: This position offers a family-friendly schedule, with daily work hours ending at 4 PM, and time off during holiday breaks and summer. This is a 9-month-per-year position. We are flexible and willing to accommodate candidates interested in full-time, part-time, or substitute positions on an as-needed basis. For applicants interested in working at Pawnee Heights or Kinsley-Offerle, we can provide transportation for those who live outside of those districts. This position also offers excellent benefits and paid time off.
