Fort Larned USD 495 - Social Worker/Family Support Worker/At-Risk Behaviorist
Position Overview: Fort Larned USD 495 is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Social Worker/Family Support Worker/At-Risk Behaviorist at Fort Larned Elementary. This position will actively work with school teams and community agencies within Fort Larned Elementary to assist students in grades PK-5 with social-emotional support, trauma, abuse, or significant behavioral needs. The role involves leading intervention strategies and working with SIT teams within the building to provide support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide social-emotional support to students.
- Assist students dealing with trauma, abuse, or significant behavioral needs.
- Lead intervention strategies within the school.
- Collaborate with SIT teams to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree and certification in social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and families in a school or community setting preferred.
