USD 495 is looking for a Middle School Head Coach to lead our middle school wrestling program for the 2026-27 school year. This position is focused on building strong relationships, creating a positive team experience, and helping student-athletes grow on and off the court.

Larned Middle School competes in the Central Kansas League and views athletics as an extension of the educational experience.

 Coaching Responsibilities

• Lead the middle school wrestling program

• Create a positive, respectful team environment

• Build strong relationships with student-athletes and families

• Communicate clearly with players, parents, and staff

• Support academic expectations and eligibility

Qualifications

• Wrestling coaching experience preferred

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Commitment to positive experiences for student-athletes

• Ability to work well with students, families, and colleagues
