Qualifications
Kansas teaching license with the appropriate Special Education endorsement (or ability to obtain)
Ability to design and implement individualized instruction
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to collaboration and student-centered learning
Essential Responsibilities
Design and implement engaging, individualized instruction to meet student needs
Use effective teaching strategies and adjust instruction based on student progress
Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and provide regular reports
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Follow state statutes, school board policies, and district regulations
Attend meetings, serve on committees, and complete assigned duties
Maintain accurate records and ensure student safety and well-being
Stay current on best instructional practices, including educational technology
