USD 495 is looking for a Middle School Asst. Coach to assist our middle school girl's basketball program for the 2026-27 school year. This position is focused on building strong relationships, creating a positive team experience, and helping student-athletes grow on and off the court.
Larned Middle School competes in the Central Kansas League and views athletics as an extension of the educational experience.
Help lead the middle school girl's basketball program
Create a positive, respectful team environment
Build strong relationships with student-athletes and families
Communicate clearly with players, parents, and staff
Support academic expectations and eligibility
Basketball coaching experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Commitment to positive experiences for student-athletes
