Position Overview: Tri-County Special Education Services is seeking a qualified Licensed Social Worker. The candidate must hold an LMSW or LSCSW or be eligible for licensure. This position will actively work with school teams and community agencies within the Tri-County area to assist students in grades PK-12 with social-emotional support, trauma, abuse, or significant behavioral needs. The social worker will help lead intervention strategies, work with building IEP and SIT teams, and provide professional development and curriculum support to address social and emotional needs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) or eligibility for licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Work with school teams and community agencies to assist students with social-emotional support.
- Lead intervention strategies for trauma, abuse, or significant behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with building IEP and SIT teams.
- Provide professional development and curriculum support to address social and emotional needs.
